Hello! 👋 I’m writing a book about Docker and Kubernetes for Java developers!

Docker and Kubernetes are hot topics right now. But they’re not all that easy to understand. You might have tried to kick the tyres with Docker but the documentation was difficult. Or you might have found some tutorials online, but the code didn’t work, and it wasn’t easy to translate the concepts to Java.

Fortunately I’m writing this book with you, the Java developer, in mind. This book will teach you the basics of Docker and Kubernetes, and how you can make use of them as a Java developer.

In the book, you’ll learn:

  • What exactly is Docker, and why it has become so important today
  • What are containers, and how you can use them as a Java developer
  • How to build images for Docker
  • The important things you need to know about running Java in containers
  • How to use Kubernetes to scale and manage your Java app
  • Best practices for writing Java apps that will run in Kubernetes
  • What does the future hold for Docker and Kubernetes

The book will contain examples and walkthroughs to help you learn.

I’m writing the book at the moment. If you’d like to be notified when the book launches, then please sign up to my email list!
